Free Administrative Support - Navy - 2396

Full time Telework position with some travel, approximately 1 week/per month. Preference is for the candidate to be living in Pennsylvania or the greater Washington Capitol Region.

GVI, Inc, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Administrative Support/Junior Business Operations specialist to effectively and efficiently support Naval Sea Logistics Command by providing support for the additive manufacturing logistics integration team (AM LIT) and digital manufacturing logistics integration team (DiMLIT) programs:

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate with chairpersons and stakeholders of each team.
Create and maintain the body of knowledge for each team.
Maintain membership and stakeholders distribution lists for each team.
Draft correspondence for membership for review by the chairpersons of each team.
Distribute correspondence to members and stakeholders of each team.
Draft meeting agendas, schedule meetings, attend meetings, record attendance, record meeting minutes, and identify action items for each team.
For each team, track action items, their associated points of contacts, estimated completion dates, and their statuses. Follow-up with points of contacts for action items approaching or past-due the estimated completion dates.
Position Requirements:

US Citizen.
Active Secret Clearance.
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one-year experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Knowledge of basic DoD Supply/Logistics terminology such as NSN, NICN, NIIN, APL, etc.
Personal computer literate with knowledge of email, word processing and spreadsheets.
Experience with common office equipment, e.g. fax machines, copiers, projectors and PC printers.
