Free Surgical Technician/1st Assist

Required skills & experience (the 4 “must haves” to be considered)
1. Certified as a Surgical Technologist.
2. Education: High School education or equivalent preferred. Graduate of an approved surgical technologist course.
3. At least 7 years of experience required as a certified surgical technologist with completion of approved Surgical First Assist Program.
4. Completion of practicum with a minimum of 300 cases.

What you need to know
- This is a full-time, on-site position with strong visibility into the hospital C-suite.

Positional overview
- A Surgical First Assist is a member of the patient care team, who is assisting under the direct supervision of the surgeon while at the same time providing assistance to the physician performing surgery.
