The client seeks to employ responsible, hardworking, detailed oriented Senior Exports Operations agent with strong customer service skills to join the Exports team. As a principal representative to customers, this person will manage the entire international shipment from quote to delivery. At the heart of our business, this person is responsible for timely, efficient, and cost-effective movement, routine, and quoting of international freight in our responsibility.

As an operations leader, this person is responsible for maintaining healthy, mutually beneficial relationships with Priority Worldwide's international freight forwarding vendors and regulatory agencies.

Candidates must possess all modes of international traffic including customs regulations, documentation preparation, and country regulations. Attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential qualities. Candidates must be accommodating to diverse cultures and willing to work with people that may possess few English-speaking skills.

A strong Exports Operations candidate will contribute to the high quality of Priority Worldwide's team, and as a result, gain much respect from within the company and abroad.

Requirements:

· 3 years industry experience.

· Energetic & motivational to customers and employees.

· Sensitive to customer and employee needs, excellent communicator.

· Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills.

· Confidence and decisiveness.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Promote and ensure strong team environment.

· Continual desire to learn & expand knowledge through trade magazines, programs, training, etc.

· Aptitude to keep up with fast paced changes in the international logistics environment.

· Ability to carefully nurture both knowledgeable and beginner shipper by effectively expressing the employee and Priority Worldwide's knowledge base.

· Strong computer skills which include ability to type 35+ words per minutes and efficient use of Windows 7, MAC OSX, MS Office, etc.

OPERATIONS

· Constant monitoring of client related e-mails

· Entering and preparing sea export shipments

· Booking sea export shipments with carriers

· B/L preparation & submission

· Ensure shipments are pre-alerted in timely manner once on-board notifications are confirmed.

· Invoicing agent routed shipments

· Preparation of accessorial international paperwork such as legalized documents, chamber documents, letter of credits, etc.

· Filing of AES & FMC and reviewing for accuracy and compliance.

· Monitoring personal and shared category e-mails in the exports mailbox and sea document folder.

· Report problems to managers as needed and collaboratively determine how to respond to clients.

· Liaison with international/domestic agents including answering rate request and cargo tracking

· Answering phones and actively communicating with Priority Worldwide personnel, clients, and vendors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary):

1. Candidates must possess experience in all modes of international traffic including customs regulations, documentation preparation, and country regulations.

2. 3 years industry experience.

3. Strong computer skills which include ability to type 35+ words per minutes and efficient use of Windows 7, MAC OSX, MS Office, etc.

4. CargoWise a ++ experience

5. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
