Free Restaurant Manager

Marker 12 Bar & Grill in Rockport, Texas is seeking a Restaurant Manager (experience: mid to senior level) to fill immediate position. Candidates must have a minimum of five years restaurant management experience. This is a new establishment (opened in May 2021) that needs key employees in place to grow the original concept. Huge potential.

The "Island Time" atmosphere that comes with this job is a plus, but serious candidates only please. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work in a thriving fishing and tourist town on the lower Texas Coast. Customers can arrive at Marker 12 by boat or car to experience the "salt life". Open concept palapa bars, full-service restaurant, live music, event hosting and rentals are the base elements. The perfect manager can step in and help create this iconic location for locals and tourists for years to come.

Proven track record of building and managing teams with a positive, coach-like management approach is key. Positions that will be under the direction of the GM include shift-level floor management, bar personnel and kitchen staff. You will also be building a management team that will manage their departments and report directly to you. Most of the hard work is in the beginning but will smooth out when our systems and the right personnel are in place. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff. You will assume all daily operational duties to effectively run and grow the business. More details about the position requirements will be discussed during the interview.

Competitive base-pay starting at $42,000 with bonus incentives. Temporary relocation accommodations can be discussed. This is a family-owned business with absolute untapped potential.
